Queers Read Things They Wrote As Kids

  • Glad Day 499 Church Street Toronto, ON, M4Y 2C6 Canada (map)
queers-read-things-they-wrote-as-kids

A diary entry confessing your celebrity crush that you couldn't tell your friends about. That love letter to a summer camp bunk-mate that you never sent. A poem that clearly identified what your 'root' was. Song lyrics about how you wanted to secretly kiss your best friend, but fear they wouldn't feel the same way. It's time to dig up your literary treasures from the past, put on a brave face, and share your favourite written creations from when you were young in front of a crowd of supportive, encouraging humans.
