What to do at Montreal Pride 2018

Fierté, otherwise known as Montreal Pride is now one big festival. Obviously it takes over Saint Catherine Street, but there’s also the celebrations in the Parc Des Faubourgs all weekend and in clubs and bars all over the fine French city. Here are the parties we’ll be twirling at.

Drag Superstars

Parc des Faubourgs

The drag show to end all drag shows this summer is hosted by Biana De Rio and includes 12 Drag Race queens as well as an endless lineup of sickening local girls. Lineup includes Adore, Aja, Bebe, Darienne Lake, Kameron Michaels, Monet X Change, Montreal's Miss Butterful and way more!




Head to old Montreal for this circuit-style party in a tiny space filled with extremely hot guys. It's in collaboration with Love Festival and features DJs Kev J and Noku. 


Pride Day at La Ronde

Major! A film screening with Miss Major

Musée Des Beax-arts de Montreal
7pm - 9:30pm

Miss Major is a veteran of the Stonewall Rebellion and a survivor of Attica State Prison, a former sex worker, an elder, and a community leader and human rights activist. Catch this screening of MAJOR! with Miss Major herself! She'll be doing a Q&A afterwards.


Chopped Montreal

DJs Jaymie Silk and spin Karim Siriano for all the costumes, special effects and club kid kids. Have you ever experienced a vogue ball? A ballroom kiki moment? You haven't until you've done it in Montreal. There's a Super Mini Ball at Midnight.

A night of electro, glam and rock with DJ Frigid, Fischerspooner, Peaches and Van Hechter! Don't miss this messy night in the park.

The legendary Montreal dance party welcome Drag Race's Ongina and Yuhua Hamasaki to their pop and house stage! It's also the Clash after party, so expect a lot of electro moments. Also arrive early 'cause this little monster is going to be busy AF. 


Prism Bootcamp: Montreal Edition

Toronto's Bootcamp party stomps into Fierté with a big gay thud thanks to Berlin DJ Ben Bakson  and Stéphane Lippé. This is a night of sexy beats, uniforms, military looks and vibes. 


Amour is love avec Fariha Róisín

Never Apart
5 - 8pm

An annual event curated by Never showcasing artists from the LGBTTIQA2S, and that places Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) at its core. Check out this very cool panel with special guest Canadian-Australian writer, Fariha Róisín. 


Jet Set

Parc des Faubourgs
8 - 11pm

Toddrick Hall, Deborah Cox, Mia Martina and more take over the parc to close down Saturday night's official festivities. Did we mention all the parc shows are free?



Le Bar Ritz
11pm - 3am

London's Manara, Toronto's Karim Olen Ash, Pituca Pituca and Jaymie Silk take over the cousins party for one night only. Don't miss this very special edition of the monthly turn up. Expect R&B, hip hop, Club sounds and global beats. 


Get Bent

10pm - 3am

Sweat, dance and shine at this Pervercité, ultra-queer, anti-everything dance party with a lineup including Big Sissy, Pheonix Wood, Vendetta Wong, Dreamboy, Botto Seeder and DJ Janette King! A night for your freak flag waving.

Probably the kinkiest party at Pride, this space has multiple rooms and sounds, a dark room and music from Laura Skavo and Paskal Daze. Dress code is leather, latex, fetish gear and sports gear!


District Pride

10pm - 3am

District Pride Edition party, in collaboration with Montreal Pride & Love Festival takes place at the magnificent MTelus (Metropolis) in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles (Entertainment District), near the Gay Village. Two rooms of huge sounding dance music from DJS Aaron, Fabio Codato, Alain Jackinsky and Cindel.


HER Montreal Pride party

9pm - 3am

DJs Laura Scavo, Fafa Khan and Nina Sky headline this night geared towards women. Expect surprise shows, gogo dancers and drag in celebration of HER app's biggest bash. 


Hot Sauce: LSTW

One of Montreal's most fun lesbian parties teams up with Lez Spread the Word for one big wild night in an old abandoned pool. Redident DJ Tizi and guest Sunset provide the beats, you provide the wild dancing. 


Stereo Verve Pride

2am - 11am

Stereo is known around the world for its insane sound system. Head here if you need to dance into Sunday without making your ears bleed. DJs  Eddie Elias and Escape take you into the wee hours. 



The parade! Le défilé

Montreal's Pride parade happens on a massive street. There is a ton of room for viewing, it's super community-based and fun to be a part of. Unlike the Toronto parade, it's a bit more laid back and there are some fantastic community groups who take part that you might want to meet. 


Méga T-dance

Parc de Faubourgs
4pm - 11pm

Plan on spending your day in the parc! Montreal does it so well. There's shade, grass, sun, big sound, big stages, food, drinks and queers of all kinds.

11pm - 9am
