ABOUT YOUR DJ:

Dj Zehra plays the raddest events in the city! You’ve seen her get everyone moving at South Asian stage and BLOCKORAMA at Pride, Shameless magazine events, No One Is Illegal rallies and much, much more! She’s here to spin us the best beats! Get ready to shake your jelly to SOCA, dance hall, ‘90’s R&B & some Reggaeton!

ABOUT YOUR PERFORMER:

Tifa Wine is a biracial queer, Indo-Trinidadian drag artist, bad gyal and wotless aunty living her life day to day in Toronto. Her work as a performance artist seeks to offer a queered expression of their diasporic positionality and center the experiences, narratives and voices of queer Caribbean communities. As a fiercely unapologetic Caribbean aunty/mausi (pronounced "mousie"), Tifa Wine pays tribute and draws up the energies and spirit of fearless and transgressive Caribbean women who, for time, have been working to resist and dismantle the patriarchy all-the-while mashin it up on de road. Tifa is incredibly excited to be here to celebrate the birthday of such an important, and impactful member of our queer community: DJ Zehra.
