An intergenerational space for 2SQTBIPOC (2 Spirit, Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) communities to exchange experiences and viewpoints through 2SQTBIPOC literature to foster solidarity.
Facilitator Kobena Ampofo (he/she/they) who developed a writing practice to complement the diverse material they read. They have also been a practicing yoga teacher for the last seven years. They are excited to bring their perspective to an exploration of Francesca Ekwuyasi’s work, Butter Honey Pig Bread.
The 2SQTBIPOC Book Club will meet on Saturdays,
November 16 and 30, December 14, and January 4, from 2 to 4 pm at Glad Day Bookshop [499 Church Street].
