Community Hang Out

Join us Sunday, December 15th from 12 pm to 3 pm for a community hang out at @sin.verguenzajaja for @queer.sober.social 's last collab of the year!

Since Sin Vergüenza is providing the venue with free entry, community members are unable to bring outside food or drinks. They will however have snacks and beverages for purchase if you would like to buy something while you attend the event. There is no expectation to purchase anything as we want to ensure this event is as accessible as possible. If cost is a barrier, QSS will have 5 beverage tickets available for folks. Please do keep in mind that purchasing things does help us continue to do these events.

Masks will be provided and encouraged when people are not eating or drinking. We do recognize that this is participants choice to wear masks and know this can be a barrier for some folks. We firmly believe in harm reduction, protecting the disabled community and want people to make choices based on their calculated risk and comfort levels. Weather permitting we will encourage folks to enjoy the venue's outside space to help with adequate air flow allow for social distancing.

If you do not feel well please do not attend. Please stay home and we will be happy to see you at another time.

The venue is located near multiple public transit routes. If you need support navigating your commute, please reach out to one of the organizers.

Unfortunately, there is one large concrete step to entry and the bathroom there is also two small steps/stairs. There is a small set of stairs to access their outdoor space as well. We apologize to anyone who is excluded by this, the venue has a stop gap in progress and are saving up to renovate and make an accessible washroom.
