Kick-off Pride Month with The Douche Rehab Fundraising Showcase! This is the final event of our community growth/ fundraising campaign for the queerest limited series of 2024/25! This event will feature the hilarious and mostly queer cast and crew of the highly anticipated web series Douche Rehab at the Comedy Lab. Every ticket to this show is a donation toward the production and distribution of the limited series Douche Rehab. Every ticket comes with raffle tickets and a chance to win gifts from our sponsors, including free tickets to the Comedy Lab, discounts at local businesses, and more.

This series begins a revolution, created by Danton Lamar and co-written with Mickey Dykeman. Werd Entertainment is dedicated to creating spaces for minorities to share their stories authentically. Douche Rehab is just the beginning.

This show is your chance to see the people bringing Douche Rehab to life doing hilarious stand-up. Our cast and crew are full of top-notch comedians who have been featured on CBC Gem, Just For Laughs Toronto/ Montreal/& Vancouver and toured around the world.

We want to change how the entertainment industry works by putting the power in the hands of the audience and creators. Our community is the driver for our success. We are building the largest community of people who care about the content they take in. We prioritize minority voices sharing their stories authentically—no cookie-cutter comedies. Our projects push the bounds of an industry struggling to create space for BIPOC & 2SLGBTQIA creators.

Yes, the current industry is trying to make space for us, but it’s hard to change the course of such a large machine with almost 100 years of momentum. Their changes are slow and often clumsy. At Werd Entertainment, we believe representation is a priority around the writers' table, in front of the camera, and behind the scenes. We are dedicated to telling honest stories in the way they were intended to be seen.

Together, we can make that a reality. Hence, this show! We plan to shoot this summer and hope to raise $30k - $50k in one spectacular night.
We’ve rented out the awe-inspiring Royal Theatre as the backdrop for the night.

Every ticket is a donation! You will receive 2 complimentary raffle tickets to put towards the sponsored prize pack of your choice.

VIP ticket holders are invited to attend the exclusive after-party with the Cast, Crew, and Sponsors at the exquisite Birreria Vollo for a meet and greet with Italian treats and an open bar.

Want to support but can’t make the show yourself? No worries, but a ticket for someone who can’t afford one and watch the livestream from anywhere in the world.

This is a chance to be a part of a necessary change. Douche Rehab is just the beginning. We have other projects waiting in the wings.
