Cindy and Lis have gone B2B many times over the years but this will be their first time doing it all on wax.
Lis Dalton needs little introduction to Toronto. A powerhouse in Montreal’s queer underground scene for the past decade, the American-born DJ has been involved with some of the city’s best parties - as both a DJ and promoter. She’s also a regular at clubs on America’s east coast and has played alongside the likes of Tiga, Dj Stingray 313, CCL, Dj Minx, Ron Like Hell and Ben UFO. She even opened for Fred Again… when he came to Montreal.
Lis has deep pockets and is full of surprises. As a veteran B2B collaborator in her local scene, she knows how to tap into the energy of a room and build a groove. At the same time, her now famous set at Honcho in 2023 - a masterclass in sensory sensual restraint - showed us that club music can be just as exhilarating at 80 BPM as 180.
Ciel, real name Cindy Li, is a music producer, DJ, pianist, and radio presenter based in Toronto and originally from Xi’an China.
As one of Toronto’s most prominent exports, she has graced the decks at world-class clubs like Robert Johnson, De School, Nowadays, and fabric as well as festivals such as Draaimolen, MUTEK, Movement, Dimensions, Bass Coast, Lighthouse, Sojourn and Electric Castle.
Increasingly known as a prolific producer, Cindy has released music on labels such as Peach Discs, Naïve, Terrafirm, Ghostly International, Studio Barnhus, Mister Saturday Night, !K7 Records, Lucky Me, Planet Euphorique, Jacktone, NAFF, SUZI and Eris Drew’s Ecstatic Editions while collaborating with artists like D. Tiffany, CCL, Dan Only, Priori and Ali Berger.
Whether it’s fast or slow these two will take you where you need to go on the dance floor.
