Come celebrate Halloween at Fresh Hot GHOULS - a spooky, witchie comedy show with 6 hilarious fem and or queer comedians in their first few years in the industry, anchored by 2 pro headliners!

This show is special because the only scary thing will be the costumes! No punching down, no aggressive crowd work, no isms or shaming, no weird cis het dudes being creepy about your slay costume. Just howls and cackles and comfy vibes for the ghouls, witchie gays, and spooky they's.

Costumes:

YES PLEASE! All the comedians will be dressed up - won't you join us? 👻

The venue:

The show takes place in the theatre space in the downstairs area of Tallboys. Take a left when you walk in and head downstairs!
The venue unfortunately has a few barriers to access. There is a large step to enter the main bar area. The theatre space and washrooms are located down a staircase, with tight corners from the bottom landing to the theatre. There is also a single step from the basement hallway into the venue room. Once inside, there is no grade change.
There is a communal, all genders set of washrooms with toilets only, and another communal, all genders washroom with a toilet and urinals. There is also a single stall, unmarked, all genders washroom with a toilet.

Community:

All are welcome at this event, including allies, that recognize this is a queer space where we are inclusive and respectful of one another, and where oppressive behaviour won't fly
At this show we only speak to our own identities, we don't punch down, and isms, phobias, and aggressive crowd work will never be tolerated. The show is hosted and produced by a queer, nonbinary comedian who takes this seriously AF, and all the comedians agree to community guidelines.
This show will be fun filled and full of friendly queers, and the audience and comedian can make new friends and mix and mingle afterwards. If you are flying solo, are nervous, or have any questions, feel free to DM the host @annasebastiencomedy on Instagram. This is all about community!
We all want a sexy, healthy time! If you are feeling sick, please stay home! Refund requests will be honoured up to 12 hours before the show. You are totally welcome to wear a mask, and we'd be stoked if you rapid tested before the show.
