Only Fems - An All Fem Comedy Taping!

Come help these hilarious fems get on TV! Only Fems is a live comedy recording where sets will be filmed to submit to a big fancy comedy festival.

Only Fems has Toronto's top women, fem(me)s, and / or fem-leaning enbies doing a new tight 8 - 10 minutes on this year's Winnipeg Comedy Festival themes*. Featuring:

Only Fems is a comfy, sexy, queer and trans inclusive, body positive show where you get to see world-class comedy without having to listen to a SINGLE cis het dude hump a stool or say a slur or whatever - pretty neat right? For real though - zero tolerance for any isms, punching down, aggressive crowd work, etc. so the girls, gays, and theys can enjoy fun night of comedy and leave feeling amazing!

All welcome, including cis het men that want to support fems in comedy!

*Oh you want the fine print on the show, eh? Love. Basically every year the Winnipeg Comedy Festival puts out specific themes they are looking for new, original material on. Comedians write sets specific to the themes, and them record to submit for the festival. If selected, festival sets are then aired on TV. Acts for Only Fems have been selected to cover a range of this year's themes (and also because they are hilarious, obvi).

The venue:

   The show takes place in the theatre space in the downstairs area of Tallboys. Take a left when you walk in and head downstairs!
   The venue unfortunately has a few barriers to access. There is a large step to enter the main bar area. The theatre space and washrooms are located down a staircase, with tight corners from the bottom landing to the theatre. There is also a single step from the basement hallway into the venue room. Once inside, there is no grade change.
   There is an unmarked, gender neutral washroom with a toilet between the 'mens' and 'women's' washrooms.

   At this show we only speak to our own identities, we don't punch down, and isms, phobias, and aggressive crowd work will never be tolerated. The show is hosted and produced by a queer, nonbinary comedian who takes this seriously AF
   We all want a sexy, healthy time! If you are feeling sick, please stay home! Refund requests will be honoured up to 12 hours before the show. You are totally welcome to wear a mask, and we'd be stoked if you rapid tested before the show.
