Solar Eclipse of the Heart

It has been 375 years since a solar eclipse was visible from Toronto, and that's a reason to celebrate!

Join The 519 and the Church Wellesley BIA as we gather together to watch this historic event. There will be snacks, fun family activities and music.

Free glasses are available (as supplies last).

You are also welcome to pick up a free pair of glasses at your local library.

The Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto has partnered with Toronto Public Library to distribute free eclipse viewing glasses.
